Meet Attorney Mark R Zimmer

Over the last 45 years Mark R Zimmer has successfully represented clients in many types of cases and legal matters.  He proudly represents victims of personal injury, people wrongly sued by others, decedents’ estates, and business interests.  Growing up in Wayne County as the son of a preeminent land surveyor, Mark naturally has represented clients in both residential and commercial real estate ventures.  His experience extends to zoning and land use matters as well and he currently represents the zoning hearing boards of Hawley Borough, Honesdale Borough, Palmyra Township Pike County, and Blooming Grove Township Pike County.

Attorney Zimmer learned and honed his well-respected trial advocacy skills as a prosecutor for 21 years – 9 as an assistant District Attorney and 12 as District Attorney of Wayne County.  During that time he also served as a Special Deputy Attorney General in Pike and Susquehanna Counties on difficult cases of sexual child abuse.  Mark became well known throughout Pennsylvania for his work in prosecuting murders, rapes, and child abuse.  In 2003 he pioneered the prosecution of a hazing incident, a case which drew national attention.

Over the years Attorney Zimmer has represented a governor, judges, and lawyers.  He has also been counsel to a Member of the Pennsylvania State House of Representatives and was special counsel to the Pennsylvania Senate (Senator Lisa Baker). He would be honored to represent you in your legal matters.
